  • Thermal Dissipation: The OSFP form factor includes an integrated heat sink. Ensure the host switch has adequate airflow to maintain the module case temperature below 70°C.
  • Handling: Leave dust caps on connectors until the immediate moment of insertion to protect the optical interface from contamination.
