Compatibility & Hard Constraints
Compatible with NVIDIA Spectrum switches (SN2000, SN3000 series) and ConnectX-4 / ConnectX-5 EN adapters operating in 50GbE 2-lane mode. The QSFP28 switch port must be explicitly configured for 2x50GbE breakout in the switch OS; ports left in 1x100GbE mode will not establish links across both branches. Not for InfiniBand fabrics — this is an Ethernet-only breakout. Not compatible with single-lane 50GbE PAM4 (50G-PAM4 SFP56) endpoints, which use a different signaling scheme. Fixed 1m length.
