Requires LC-LC duplex multimode fiber patch cables (not included). It is NOT compatible with single-mode fiber — this is an 850nm multimode-only transceiver. It is NOT an SFP+ transceiver and will not operate at 10GbE in SFP+ slots without host port autonegotiation support. For single-mode long-range 25GbE, a different transceiver (LR variant) is required.
