  • Protocol Awareness: Since this is a VPI cable, ensure the port protocol (IB or ETH) is manually defined or auto-negotiated correctly on the switch side to prevent link training failures.
  • Bend Radius: The optical fiber within the jacket requires a minimum bend radius of 30mm. Do not crimp with zip ties.
  • Thermal Handling: The QSFP56 metal shell acts as a heatsink. Ensure switch fans are operational to keep case temperatures below 70°C.
