The MCP7Y70-H002 enables 1:4 fan-out of HDR 400 ports into HDR100 links. A single OSFP cage on a NVIDIA Quantum-2 switch (QM9700/QM9790) terminates four downstream HDR100 hosts, multiplying effective port density at the leaf layer. As a passive copper assembly with 28AWG conductors and an LSZH jacket, it consumes 0W and introduces near-zero electrical latency. At 2m, it is within the passive copper reach budget for HDR signaling.

The OSFP port must be configured for 4x HDR100 split mode on the switch side. Not compatible with HDR 200 (QSFP56) source cages — this cable expects an OSFP HDR 400 host.
