The V02A variant uses 26AWG conductors to support its 2.5m reach. There is no FEC retimer, no electronics, and no power draw. The MCP7H50 family bridges the HDR/200GbE generation to two HDR100 / 100GbE endpoints, doubling effective port density on the 200Gb/s side. The 200Gb/s QSFP56 end carries 4 lanes of 50Gb/s PAM4 signaling. Each 100Gb/s QSFP56 end carries 2 lanes of 50Gb/s PAM4 (HDR100). At 2.5m, the heavier 26AWG conductors are used to maintain signal integrity over the full passive run. The cable adds no end-to-end latency beyond propagation delay, draws 0W, and contains no diagnostic firmware. The V02A differs from the H02A primarily by jacket compound; both share the same 26AWG / 2.5m electrical reach.

In-rack and short adjacent-rack fan-out from a 200GbE Spectrum-2 / SN3700 switch port to two ConnectX-5 or ConnectX-6 100GbE adapter ports.
