Compatibility & Constraints

The source QSFP56 switch port MUST be configured for split (fan-out) mode in the switch software before this cable will pass traffic. Each breakout leg operates as an HDR100 link. Not compatible with QSFP-DD ports, NDR (400G) ports, or Ethernet-only QSFP+/QSFP28 switches. Not for 200G to 200G point-to-point use; for that, a non-splitter MCP1650-Hxxx cable is required.
