Engineering Context: The MSN2700 platform is built on a single Spectrum ASIC providing 6.4 Tbps non-blocking switching capacity. Each of the 32 QSFP28 cages can operate at 10, 25, 40, 50, or 100GbE, and ports support 4×25GbE or 4×10GbE breakout for fan-out into 25GbE or 10GbE access. The platform features sub-microsecond port-to-port cut-through latency and large dynamically-shared packet buffers for predictable behavior under burst. The BS2F variant ships with P2C (port-to-connector) airflow and includes redundant power.
