Compatibility & Hard Constraints
The MCP7F00-A001 requires a QSFP28 port configured for 4x25GbE breakout mode on the host side and four SFP28 ports on the breakout side. The host switch or adapter must support QSFP28-to-4xSFP28 breakout at the firmware/configuration level. It is NOT compatible with QSFP-DD (400GbE) or QSFP56 (200GbE) ports for operation above 100Gb/s. The SFP28 breakout legs are NOT backward compatible with SFP+ 10GbE at 25Gb/s speeds.
