Engineering Context
The MTEF-PSF-AC-A delivers 460W of regulated DC output from a wide-range AC input and is designed to operate in 1+1 redundant configurations with a second matching PSU. P2C airflow alignment is mandatory: the chassis fan modules must use the same airflow direction or thermal management will fail. The PSU is hot-swappable, allowing replacement without taking the switch offline as long as the partner PSU continues to supply the chassis. Status (input present, output OK, fault) is reported through the chassis CLI and SNMP.

Compatible only with Mellanox 1U switch chassis specified for P2C airflow PSUs. Will not operate in chassis configured for C2P airflow, and mixing airflow directions in a redundant pair is not supported.
