The MTEF-KIT-I-TL allows installation of QM9700/QM9790 chassis without a screwdriver for the rail-to-rack attachment, reducing installation time and the chance of damaged threads in shared facility racks. The rails support the rack depth range required by the Quantum-2 1U platform and align the chassis to standard rack-unit boundaries. Sliding service position and final-locking are mechanical, so the chassis can be drawn forward for hot-aisle access without disconnecting power or fabric cabling.
