NVIDIA Mellanox MTEF-KIT-A Rack Mount Kit for MSN2700: This is the OEM rack mounting kit for the Mellanox MSN2700 1U Ethernet switch (32-port 100GbE Spectrum). The kit consists of brackets and the screws, nuts, and cage-nut hardware required to land the MSN2700 chassis in a 19-inch rack. It accommodates rack-rail spans across both short-depth (430–600 mm) and standard-depth (600–800 mm) cabinets. This is a passive mechanical assembly; it is NOT a switch and contains no electronics. This is a new unit.
Engineering Context
The MSN2700 chassis weight and front-to-rear airflow design require properly aligned 4-post rack support to keep the switch level under fully populated cabling and maintain hot/cold aisle separation. The MTEF-KIT-A brackets attach to the side of the MSN2700 chassis using the OEM screw pattern, then mount to the rack posts via the supplied cage nuts. Rail span flexibility (430–800 mm) covers most enterprise and colocation cabinets without requiring custom shelf hardware.
