The MSN4600-VS2F is built around the NVIDIA Spectrum-3 SN4000-class silicon, which provides line-rate L2/L3 forwarding, deep buffers, advanced telemetry (What Just Happened, streaming telemetry), and hardware support for RoCEv2 and adaptive routing. Each of the 64 QSFP56 ports can run at 200GbE (4x50G PAM4) and is breakout-capable to 2x100GbE or 4x50GbE depending on NOS configuration. The 2U chassis houses dual hot-swappable redundant AC PSUs, multiple hot-swappable fan modules, and an x86 management CPU running the NOS. P2C airflow draws cold air from the PSU/fan rear face and exhausts hot air at the port-side front face.

NOT a QSFP-DD or OSFP switch — cannot accept native 400GbE optics. NOT preloaded with NVIDIA Onyx or Cumulus — the operator must install the NOS via ONIE; the SKU is sold as bare hardware. NOT a C2P airflow unit — for standard front-to-back cooling racks the equivalent SKU is the MSN4600-VS2R.
