Compatibility & Hard Constraints
Compatible with standard PCIe Gen4 x16 and x8 server slots. The DPU runs the NVIDIA DOCA software framework and supports BlueField OS (Linux) for in-DPU services. Requires NVIDIA Mellanox-supported drivers (MLNX_OFED or DOCA) on the host. The two ports operate at 25GbE per port; this card does NOT support 100GbE per port — the 100GbE/200GbE variants are different MPNs (MBF2H516A/MBF2M516A class). Direct attach copper or AOC must be SFP28/SFP56-rated for 25GbE. This is the P-Series variant (PCIe-attached BMC channel via host); it is not the standalone E-Series. The SoC OS image is not pre-loaded — the customer must flash a supported BlueField OS or DOCA image.
