The 930-9SFAN-00RM-00A is a hot-swappable system fan tray for the SN5400 and SN5600 switch chassis. It IS a chassis cooling module that aligns with the P2C (port-to-cable) airflow direction. It is NOT a power supply, line card, or rack-mount auxiliary fan, and it is NOT a drop-in replacement for Spectrum-1/2/3 (MSN-series) or Quantum/Quantum-2 fan trays — different mechanical footprint.
Engineering Context. P2C airflow direction (port side to cable side, also called front-to-back from the connector face). Hot-swappable for online replacement without service interruption. Required as part of the airflow set for the cooling load of the SN5400 (64×400GbE) and SN5600 (64×800GbE) Spectrum-4 silicon. All fan trays and PSUs in a single chassis must share the same airflow direction.
