Compatibility & Hard Constraints
Compatible with NVIDIA Mellanox SX/SN-series 40GbE switches that expose breakout-capable QSFP+ ports and with ConnectX-3, ConnectX-3 Pro, and ConnectX-4 Lx EN adapters in Ethernet mode. The host QSFP+ port must be configured for 4x10GbE breakout in switch firmware; ports left in native 40GbE mode will not link up on the SFP+ ends. Not compatible with InfiniBand mode. Not compatible with 25G/100G QSFP28 ports — this is a QSFP+ Gen 1 cable. Length is fixed at 5m and the assembly is not field-terminable.
