The InfiniScale IV ASIC delivers full bisection bandwidth across all 8 QSFP ports at 40Gb/s QDR for 640Gb/s of aggregate non-blocking switching. Sub-100ns port-to-port cut-through latency is typical for this generation. Because the switch carries no on-board management, it has no IP address and no Ethernet management port — fabric topology, partitioning and routing are entirely the responsibility of an external Subnet Manager. The 1BFR variant is the "no-FRU" build: power supply and fans are not field-replaceable, so RMA replacement of cooling or power components is not supported in the field.
