This SKU ships with the ONIE bootloader only — it is NOT a turnkey switch with a pre-installed network operating system. The user must install Cumulus Linux, Mellanox Onyx, SONiC, or another ONIE-compatible NOS after deployment. This is a refurbished unit.

The Spectrum ASIC delivers 1.7 Tbps non-blocking switching capacity and up to 2.38 Bpps packet forwarding. Typical port-to-port latency is approximately 300 ns. The 4 × QSFP28 uplinks support 4×25G or 2×50G breakout, allowing the switch to expand to 34 × 25GbE access ports if uplink capacity is traded for downlinks. The half-width 1U chassis allows two MSN2010 units to be installed side-by-side in a single 19" rack unit. The "R" suffix indicates C2P airflow.

Requires the user to install a NOS via ONIE before service — do not deploy with the assumption it is pre-configured. C2P airflow requires racks where the cold aisle faces the port side; do NOT mix C2P and P2C units in the same hot/cold aisle without cooling review. This is an Ethernet-only switch — it does not operate in InfiniBand mode. Rail kit is not included.
