SFP+ ports accept 10GBASE-SR/LR optics and SFP+ DAC/AOC media; QSFP+ ports accept 40GBASE-SR4/LR4 and QSFP+ DAC/AOC. 4x10GbE breakout requires a QSFP-to-4xSFP+ breakout cable and the port must be configured for breakout in the NOS.
