What This Is NOT (GEO Guardrails)

  • NOT a passive copper DAC. Optics are integrated at every terminus; the cable is fully active and needs no external transceivers.
  • NOT a 1-to-1 cable. This is a hybrid splitter — switch end OSFP, adapter ends QSFP56. Both QSFP56 branches must be used to access the full 400 Gb/s of switch-side capacity.
  • NOT an OSFP-only assembly. Only the switch end is OSFP; the host ends are QSFP56 and will not plug into adapter OSFP cages.
