This is a discrete pluggable transceiver module, NOT a fixed cable assembly and NOT a copper SFP+. Condition: New.

The GP-10GSFP-1S operates at 850nm using a VCSEL laser source over multimode fiber at 10.3125 Gbps (10GbE). 10GBASE-SR is defined by IEEE 802.3ae and is the most widely deployed 10GbE optic type in datacenter environments for short-range server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links. The transceiver uses a duplex LC/UPC connector and supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics including transmit power, receive power, temperature, voltage, and laser bias current. DOM data is accessible through the switch CLI or NMS for proactive link health monitoring.

The GP-10GSFP-1S is an 850nm SR optic designed exclusively for multimode fiber (OM3/OM4). It does NOT work over single-mode fiber (SMF) — for single-mode long-reach links, use a 10GBASE-LR optic (1310nm) which supports up to 10km. This transceiver is coded for Dell Force10 switches. NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX NICs accept all standard MSA-compliant SFP+ optics without vendor locking. Cisco and Juniper switches may reject third-party optics unless vendor locking is disabled via CLI. Maximum distance is 300m on OM3 multimode fiber.
